I needed an app to set different training periods for HIIT, and this app does exactly that.
You can set multiple intervals of different duration, as well as name then. If you are using headphones you will get a notification of each interval, so you do not need to look at your phone constantly.
Please note that you can only set time-based intervals, nothing more.
I love this app! It is easy to handle, many free options and the sounds/voice assist is a great feature. I use it all the time, especially for running to switch between different paces...
Had other interval timers but this one takes the cake! Easy to use for customizing my interval workouts and allows the use of my own music. User friendly in regards to duping exercises, arranging them, and changing time durations!

For sure the best and more complete timer app. It would be nice to have a progress bar and the name preview for the upcoming exercise few seconds before
Some bad moments
Liked this app, used it for a while to do my own HIIT workouts. Today I come to find I cant modify workouts without buying the pro version, including the workouts I made. And they also show ads every time you exit from a workout, even if you accidentally click into the start screen with their unintuitive UI, which I often do. Shameful.
I thought this would show how to do some of the workouts. For instance, I have no clue what "the halo" or "snatches" is for the kettle ball workout as I have never really worked with a kettle ball before. Is there a place that Im missing that shows what the heck it is?
Would be nice if you could what exercises were in each routine before you start it. Funny that the Mountain climber routine has moutain written throughout the exercise.
This interval timer has the best interface out of all them. And it has presets for various workouts already. It also allows you to save your workout!
Would be 5 stars if we could use it at the same time as other apps
This is a Great APP to utilize for your workouts. HIIT does all the thinking and planning for you, so you can just focus on working out! Whether using their workout plans or modifying a plan to place more emphasis on targeted areas, is a great feature that I utilize.
Just one suggestion for the designer of HIIT to consider. During a exercise routine, I would like to hear a notification @ the halfway point of my round. For example: If I choose to do a exercise for 40 seconds, than @ 20 seconds(when I select voice announcement) announce "Halfway". This will give me a mental indicator for me to countdown and push myself all the way through, without quitting early before the round is finished. For Example: Depending on the exercise and weight I use for the exercise, say I am @14reps and fail, yet there is still 5 seconds left for that round(enough time for another rep). If I heard the "halfway" announcement, I would know I am almost done, to just squeeze out another rep until the buzzer ends. Right or wrong, this will occur from time to time when Im busting my A__!!
Overall HIIT App is 99.85% perfect!!
