Workouts+ HIIT Interval Timer App Reviews

Easiest to navigate

Not all HIIT timers are made equal..Ive searched most of the them out and this one is the best. I can set different sounds for rest time, start time, create my own workout and it keeps me on track in the gym

Hiit - great tool

This ended up being a better stop watch than I thought and is very easy to customize

Intuitive

Relatively simple with many options, a great tool to streamline training sessions and prevent excess rest. More work done in less time.

This is the one for me

Overall, this is the HIIT app I recommend. I have tried several HIIT apps and this is the one that fit my needs best. This developer has a different app that looks better (Tabata stopwatch) but the functionality is more limited. However, they tell me this app will get a similar makeover in the near future. When the “remodel” comes out, for my needs and likes, I bet this becomes a 5 star app. As it is, it’s still the best HIIT app I’ve tested and used. I have one small gripe. You can’t skip ahead intervals. If I feel like starting the next interval early, I have to wait for the rest period to end. Otherwise, I have to stop the program, edit it, and then start over.

Love the 7 min workout!!! Makes HIIT fun!

Easy to use. Keeps me honest.

So many workouts on this app! Highly visible countdowns. Music ducks just right for the instructors voice. Would like to see runkeeper and kiip rewards connectivity.

Great app.

It would be nice if the timer beeps where louder than music but I imagine if using headphones this would not be an issue.

Clean and simple!

Great app to get the job done! Very simple and easy to operate!

The one you want.

I just wanted an interval timer that would: -let me (easily) set up custom timed routines -provide a simple beep at intervals -run in the background It was remarkably hard to find one that did all three for free. HIIT is it. The graphics and interface are a bit underwhelming, but the functionality is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for--at long last!

Perfect!

Great App!

HIIT Stop Watch

Easy to use, friendly and flexible support. A most have app for anyone doing HIIT.

Cant use on multiple devices

If you want this app on more than one device & you create a routine on one device - forget about getting it on the other device. AirDrop, messaging & all the other options dont work. It looks like airdrop should work cause it sends & receives but nothing shows up in the app so basically it didnt get there. Why cant they just sync it through the cloud, it would be much easier.

Great App!!!

I only have praise for this app. You can customize the workouts to what you want to do, custom name each interval, duplicate, repeat. It has everything you need!!!

Almost Perfect

Problems: 1. The app lacks a sound that tells me when it is done--instead the facebook, twitter screen slides out. The app has sound options for beginning, halfway point but no ending--am I missing something? 2. I think the interface could be simpler and more intuitive. Having a lot of choice is great but having to navigate through unintuitive menus is not. A better (because it would be simpler) customizing screen would be to have a single page for any given routine. 1. Section One: Name of workout 2. Section Two: Get Ready time 3. Section three: Add Exercise (however many the user wants). 4. Section Four: Cool Down. 5. A "Save" button. The above would be the basic Layout. From here you can add Music options, Screen options or any other options for any given section but the above would be the basic format. You could select an option, change it but when you come out of it, you would be right back at the routines "Main Page". You also would see the changes on the single page before you "Saved" it. Is it me? ; ) Note: I still use this app more than any other Ive downloaded because of it being of my ipad and being able to see the clock tick is great.

2 big improvements needed

Problem #1) it stops your work out in the middle of it randomly to ask for a review or for you to share it. Since Im using this in an actual class, this is a huge let down. Im partially writing this review in hopes that it wont happen again afterward. Well see. #2) it would be nice to have the ability to have playlists of classes so that when we have classes back to back, we could run a single playlist rather than hoping to start the next class on time with the app. Especially since there is no down time between our classes. #3) it would be nice if it turned down the music when announcing the work out. You cant quite hear what the voice says. The good: it plays music from your iTunes collection, the timer sounds are great and theres lots to choose from, the app itself is easy to use and beautiful. Lastly, a stop clock cost a fortune and this app is a life saver.

Good but missing one key component

You cant skip to the next exercise.... Accidentally stopped or paused the timer in my pocket or just handling it. Once that happens you either wait or start the timer over again. Add a function that allows it to skip intervals or start on a specific one you get 5 stars

Good

Has everything i needed! Thanks

Cool

Love it. Make an apple watch version.

Big Problem...

The big problem; the reset button is far too easy to hit accidentally. Ive done it many times mid workout just picking up the phone. Try to hip pause, but fat finger the reset. FAIL. Perhaps make it a double tap or something. This problem has rendered the app too unreliable to continue using.

Cool

Im new with this app. But I can say that its really cool. It helps me a lot. But I cant seem to continue because whenever I start it theres something it keeps on appearing..
